We had a wonderful dinner experience at GoodFellas Pizzeria this Friday evening around 6:30 PM. It was a quieter dine-in night—we were actually the only table at the time—but it gave us a chance to really take in the atmosphere and attention to detail. While dine-in was calm, it was clear their carryout and delivery business was steady and popular.

Right away, the cleanliness stood out. Everything was spotless and well-organized, from the bar area—with chairs lined up perfectly and bottles evenly spaced—to the overall dining space. The ambiance is thoughtfully done, with mobster-themed décor throughout the walls that fits the “GoodFellas” vibe perfectly. Even the ceiling, with its unique aged gold tone, adds a lot of character to the space.

We started with the fried pickles, and they were fantastic—fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The real standout alongside them was their house-made ranch. It’s thick, creamy, and clearly made in-house, which made a big difference.

For the main course, we ordered pizza, and it did not disappoint. The thin crust was perfectly done—hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. The sauce had a great balance with noticeable herbs that gave it a really rounded flavor. The small pepperonis on the pizza, in particular, had that ideal crisp to it that’s hard to get just right. We also tried the garlic butter, which was very flavorful (though a bit on the runny side), but still a great addition.

Even the restrooms deserve a mention—they were 10/10 clean and modern, with a really cool design touch like the glazed exposed brick wall that ties into the overall aesthetic.

To top it all off, the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. As we were leaving, the owner took the time to chat with us and even showed us an original 1930s built-in refrigerator on-site, complete with its original hardware handle. That personal touch really made the experience memorable.

Overall, this was a fantastic visit. Between the quality food, clean and unique atmosphere, and genuinely friendly service, GoodFellas Pizzeria is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to—and recommending to others in the Streator area.
