Ottawa, Ill. — Matthew N. McBee was indicted on two of four charged counts, including domestic battery causing bodily harm and aggravated assault involving a deadly weapon, following his July 22, 2026 arrest. He is awaiting jury trial and has pleaded not guilty.

LaSalle County, Ill. — Margaret M. Buckley was denied pretrial release after being charged with aggravated arson with knowledge of people present, a Class X felony, following an incident on August 3, 2026. She has since been indicted and has pleaded not guilty.

Ottawa, Ill. — B.J. D. Redmond, 23, was ordered held pending trial after allegedly opening fire on the Zeller Inn patio in downtown Ottawa on April 18, 2026, leaving one man hospitalized with serious injuries. He faces multiple Class X felony charges and has pleaded not guilty.

Streator, Ill. — Tyler J. Moore, of Streator, faces three open felony cases and one open DUI case in LaSalle County, including drug delivery, aggravated battery of a peace officer, and aggravated domestic battery charges.
